Whenever a movie franchise, or even a book series undergoes a “reboot”, there are always certain elements that are shifted or changed while the main focus of the story generally remains the same. That is probably the best way I can describe how I feel coming back to this blog after roughly a year of inconsistent entries.
The focus at first was relaying information that I had absorbed, and felt that others should be absorbing as well. The lesson learned after a year or so? You cannot free someone by fighting their revolution for them. People have to learn these lessons in their own way…we can lead them to resources, but how they utilize them is ultimately their choice and their decision.
The way I see my role now in this Lost Decade before the Great Correction (terms and timelines to come along in the not-so-distant-future) is to be one of the soapbox extraordinaires. I will put my views out there for others to listen to, and I will leave it at that. Action is always necessary, but more important than that is the philosophical foundation of the movement. If I can be part of that building process, I will consider this a job well done.
